How To Get Consultants To Use Recruitment Software

When it comes to recruitment software, it doesn’t matter how great it is if your staff don’t use it. In order to get the most you can out of the software, ideally everyone needs to be using it in the same way so it can reach its full potential. Understandably, it can be a challenge to some companies to implement the system but without getting everyone on board, it can be damaging to the company culture and negatively affect revenue.

Training

It’s going to be hard for your consultants to use a system which they can’t work, so training is the most important thing you can do to ensure they actually use it. You need to let them know how you want it to be used and allow them to learn the full potential of the system and its functionality. This can all be done through training online or in person, manuals and induction programmes.

Explain the benefits

Not only do your employees need to know about the benefits of using the recruitment software for the company, but also what it can do for them. Automating processes, making everything much easier and quicker, reducing errors, aiding multi-tasking and helping communication throughout the business. It will essentially do the work for them!

Set targets and rewards

You can use reporting tools to measure targets which should drive consultants to achieve their goals. Incentives will also motivate them to stick to the required usage, continue using the software and reach their targets. To ensure people understand what is expected of them and how they are going to be evaluated, you can make everyone aware that their usage is being monitored in line with the usage requirements.

Get everyone to jump on board

By getting everyone in the company to use the system, people will be more inclined to use it too, especially if managers lead by example. If there is also a lot of trust as well as a strong vision or mission statement, employees will be more likely to buy into the idea of it all.
