It is an undeniable fact that in today’s modern era, the internet has become a hub of resources and information for individuals and businesses alike. In this digital age, recruiters have the advantage of being able to access a vast range of websites that are designed to assist them in their work. These websites offer an array of tools and features that can help recruiters find and attract top talent, manage the recruitment process, and ultimately make successful hires.
However, the efficacy of these websites depends on the industry in which the recruiter operates. In certain sectors, there may be a multitude of specialized job boards that cater to specific fields or skill sets. This can make it challenging for recruiters to navigate the vast array of resources available to them and find the best fit for their needs. Nonetheless, there are other websites that can offer invaluable support to recruiters, regardless of the industry they work in.
For instance, some websites provide a platform for recruiters to network with other professionals in their field, sharing insights and advice on industry-specific hiring practices. Other websites offer access to databases of candidate profiles and resumes, allowing recruiters to conduct extensive searches for potential candidates. Additionally, some websites may offer training or certification programs to help recruiters develop new skills and stay up-to-date with the latest recruitment trends and best practices.
Overall, while there may be an overwhelming number of websites available to recruiters, with a bit of research and exploration, they can find the resources that are best suited to their specific needs and industry. Whether it’s a specialized job board or a more general recruitment site, the internet offers an abundance of options to help recruiters succeed in their roles. Here are a few of our recommendations.
Social Talent
Social Talent is the leading provider of online and social media training to the recruitment industry worldwide and the likes of Apple and L’Oreal have even completed their training programmes. Not only is their website a good place to go but their blog will provide you with the latest how to’s and their recently launched Social Talent Community is a great place to share opinions, views and stories.
LinkedIn and XING
It goes without saying that LinkedIn is an absolute essential for recruiters for both recruiting and networking and despite the new, not so popular design it will remain that way. XING is used in a similar way in the European markets.
Broadbean, Logic Melon and idibu
Since it’s hard to give a definitive job board as there is such a vast number of industries people recruit into, instead I encourage you to check out job posting tools such as the above. These will help you to reach candidates quickly by distributing your job adverts to job boards and social media.
Recruiter
Even though there are multiple industry magazines, Recruiter is our favourite for finding out the latest recruitment news and with their brand-new website design, it’s easy to delve into their knowledge page which provides written articles, advice, webinars and whitepapers.
If there are any other helpful links for recruiters which you think could really benefit others then please tweet them to us, we’d love to share them!
