December has finally arrived, and the advent countdown to Christmas can finally begin. Whilst Santa is busy getting his naughty and nice list together, we polled recruiters to find out the top things they wanted from the big fella (recruitment software wise). The Top 5 are:
1. Mobile access. The days of a recruiter working 9 to 5 are long gone. Whether they are screening candidates on skype from home or working on the train before getting into the office, recruiters need access to their system on the go.
2. Better social media integrations. LinkedIn has become a recruiter’s bread and butter, for targeting the best talent and expand their talent pool. Therefore, having better 2-way integrations between their recruitment software and these platforms is a must.
3. Advanced searching. Although you would assume that searching would be one of the pinnacle features of recruitment software, this is where a lot of systems fall short.
4. 24/7 support. If a recruiter needs full time access to their database, then naturally they will need to be able to access software support 24/7. As recruitment companies expand into new markets and countries, having that flexible support is a must.
5. Reports reports reports. Visibility is key. Consultants want to be able to measure their KPIs in real time.
